About all classes: Each class is 4 days (Monday - Thursday) and is for all skill levels. Anyone who can follow instructions and is eager to learn is welcome, regardless of age. Class sizes kept small at a maximum of 10 participants per class. See below for specific class information.

Classes are held at our home studio at 1231 Leo Andrews Rd., Whitesboro, TX 76273

LEARN & CREATE: This happens during the week. You'll learn how to properly cover and store your work so you can continue working on it through the week.

DRYING & FIRST FIRING: After the week's classes are over, your work will dry and then go into the first (bisque) firing in the kiln. When it comes out of the kiln, you'll be notified and can come glaze (paint) your work during open studio times.

GLAZING: When you come to glaze, you'll learn proper glaze application techniques and get to glaze your own work.

SECOND FIRING & PICKUP: When you finish glazing your work, it will go in the kiln a second and final time. This firing allows the glaze to melt and adhere to the work. You'll be notified when it's ready to be picked up.

2 hours of open studio time are included in the price of the 4-day intensive. The primary purpose for this is to give you time to come and glaze (paint) your work; however, if you'd like to use part of your time to add finishing touches to a project, you're welcome to use the time however you choose.
