About all classes: Friday night workshops are designed for participants of any skill level to enjoy a relaxing evening learning a new skill and creating your own project. You get to keep whatever you make (see timeline for more info). Each week has a different theme with a specific skill set to focus on. Workshops will have a maximum of 10 participants each week. This keeps the class size small so Chris can work with each person. See below for a description of each workshop.

Pricing: Each class is $65 and includes all material and tools necessary to create your project. See individual workshop pages for details on pricing, including any specials or discounts.

Classes are held at our home studio at 1231 Leo Andrews Rd., Whitesboro, TX 76273

TIMELINE OF YOUR WORK:

LEARN & CREATE: This happens during Friday evening. You'll create and finish your project during workshop.

DRYING & FIRST FIRING: After the workshop is over, your work will dry and then go into the first (bisque) firing in the kiln. When it comes out of the kiln, you'll be notified and can come glaze (paint) your work during open studio times.

GLAZING: When you come to glaze, you'll learn proper glaze application techniques and get to glaze your own work.

SECOND FIRING & PICKUP: When you finish glazing your work, it will go in the kiln a second and final time. This firing allows the glaze to melt and adhere to the work. You'll be notified when it's ready to be picked up.

OPEN STUDIO TIME:

1 hour of open studio time is included in the price of the workshop. The primary purpose for this is to give you time to come and glaze (paint) your work; however, if you'd like to use part of your time to add finishing touches to a project, you're welcome to use the time however you choose.
