February 3 Throwing Class (Saturday AM)

***THERE WILL BE ONE WEEK SKIPPED*** We are in the process of securing dates for a gallery talk and exhibition Chris will be doing at Mary Hardin Baylor in February/March. There will be one weekend during the course of this class we will be out of town for that. The exact weekend we'll miss will be updated as soon as it's confirmed with the university. The dates listed run 7 weeks, but the class is still only 6 sessions. Please be aware of that when scheduling. Six 2-hour sessions on the wheel. SCHEDULE: This class is for ages 12+ from 10:00 PM - 12:00 PM on the following six consecutive Saturdays (minus the one skipped, noted above - this will be updated asap): February 3 February 10 February 17 February 24 March 2 March 9 March 16 Our classes are for all levels and experience of wheel throwing! Whether this is brand new, a hobby you've practiced for a while, or even if it's just been a while since you've been in clay, our instructor works specifically with you at your level. All classes have a maximum of 6 students to ensure you get plenty of individual help throughout the course. Each class is 2-hours long and includes wheel time, clay, glazes, firings, and the use and access to specialized pottery tools and equipment. There is an additional 3 hours of studio time included for you to come in and practice, trim, or glaze your work so your class time can be focused on building technique. To ensure a successful class, please make sure to: - Wear comfortable clothing - Bring an apron or towel to help keep your clothing clean (pottery can be messy!) - Tie back long hair and trim your nails *All our wheel-based classes are for ages 12+. If your child is younger than 12, please check out the Handbuilding classes or reach out about the kids throwing camps.
