Makers Event: Travel Cups

Service Description

Settle in for a fun, hands-on night creating your own handmade travel cup in this Signature Makers Event. In this 2.5-hour class, we’ll guide you step-by-step through building the form and attaching a functional top with a cut-out for sipping — no prior pottery experience needed. Once the structure is complete, you’ll have plenty of time to make it your own. Add texture, use sprig molds, carve designs, or press in words — the sky’s the limit when it comes to personalizing your piece. This class is designed to be approachable for beginners while still offering plenty of creative freedom for those who want to explore. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind travel cup that’s both functional and full of personality. At the end of your class, you'll choose a single glaze color and we'll take care of the glazing and firing of your work. In total, it will go through two firings in the kiln before it's ready to take home. Turnaround time ranges from 2-4 weeks. We provide all clay, materials, and firing, as well as full access to studio tools and equipment. Just bring your creativity—we’ll take care of the rest.
