September 30 Throwing Class (Saturdays)

Service Description

***THERE IS NO CLASS ON OCTOBER 28*** We will be at the Texas Clay Festival the weekend of October 28. This class runs 7 weeks to make up for the one missed class. Please be aware of that when scheduling. Six 2-hour sessions on the wheel. SCHEDULE: This class is for ages 12+ from 10:00 PM - 12:00 PM on the following six consecutive Saturdays: September 30 October 7 October 14 October 21 October 28 - NO CLASS November 4 November 11 Our classes are for all levels and experience of wheel throwing! Whether this is brand new, a hobby you've practiced for a while, or even if it's just been a while since you've been in clay, our instructor works specifically with you at your level. All classes have a maximum of 6 students to ensure you get plenty of individual help throughout the course. Each class is 2-hours long and includes wheel time, clay, glazes, firings, and the use and access to specialized pottery tools and equipment. There is an additional 3 hours of studio time included for you to come in and practice, trim, or glaze your work so your class time can be focused on building technique. To ensure a successful class, please make sure to: - Wear comfortable clothing - Bring an apron or towel to help keep your clothing clean (pottery can be messy!) - Tie back long hair and trim your nails *All our wheel-based classes are for ages 12+.
