  • Is your work food-safe/microwave-safe/dishwasher-safe?
All my work is glazed with food-safe glazes and is safe to use in the microwave (except pieces with gold or white gold luster) and dishwasher. Please refrain from putting the work over an open flame, such as on a stovetop, or pouring boiling water directly onto the surface of any work as this drastic tempertaure shift could cause the peice to break. I do not use lead in any of my glazes.
  • I would like you to make something for me... can you do it?
I'm glad you like what you see! If there is a particular piece you love, but someone else beat you to it or if your 3 year old knocks your favorite cup of mine off the table and it shatters (I've been there before!), you're welcome to contact me and I'll do my best to make the peice for you. Keep in mind that over the last several years my glazes and firing techniques may have changed, so there's no guarantee I'll be able to recreate a specfic peice. As a gerenal rule, I do not do specific commissions or take large orders such as "dinner sets of 8" simply due to time constraints and firing schedules. If there's something you're looking for that you think fits within my style of work, you're welcome to contact me about it and we can discuss it further.
  • How do I care for my gold luster?
Because of the delicacy of the luster, I recommend hand washing with a non-abrasive material. They should NOT be put in the microwave.
  • Help! My piece broke - can you replace it?
It is always a sad day when your favorite ceramics piece breaks. Becuase of the numerous reasons why things break, I cannot guarantee a replacement. Should you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, please take pictures of the broken piece and send them to me with a description of what happened. I will do my best to make it right. If an order arrives broken, please take pictures and contact me immediately so I can take appropriate measures with the postal service. If you buy a piece from a gallery, and it breaks after arrival, I am unable to offer a replacement. This is because I cannot verify how the piece was shipped or how it was handled prior to shipping. Should an order from a gallery arrive broken, please take pictures and contact the gallery directly.
