Service Description
Trial Run – Please contact us before booking. This offering is by approval only and currently available to participants aged 18 and up. Looking for a relaxed, self-directed time to dive into clay? Whether you're a current student needing extra studio time or a regular member continuing your practice, this session gives you open access to the studio to work independently—no instruction, just you, the clay, and the space to create. This 2-hour session supports two types of participants: 1. Class Students (One-Time Use): This option is for students currently enrolled in a 6-week or semester class who need occasional extra time in the studio to work on their projects. As this one-time session is an add-on to your current enrollment, clay, glazes, and kiln firings are included in the price. 2. Studio Members (Ongoing Access): This option is for current or past students (by approval) who wish to rent studio space to work and create. As a member, you may book unlimited Independent Studio Time sessions, but are responsible for purchasing your own clay, glazes, and kiln firings. Because space is shared across both groups, availability is limited. Cancellation Policy
Eligibility – Booking is available by approval only. – Participants must be 18 or older and either: • Enrolled in a current 6-week or semester class, or • Approved as a Studio Member through our membership program. Booking & Cancellations – All sessions must be booked at least 12 hours in advance. – Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled session. Arrival & Cleanup – Please arrive on time and finish all cleanup within your scheduled time. – Independent Studio Time does not include instructional support; participants are expected to work safely and independently. – You may not remain in the studio beyond your reserved time. Materials & Firing Class Students: – Clay, glazes, and firings are included in your session. – All glazing must be done during your session or during class time—return visits for glazing are not included. Studio Members: – Clay, glazes, and firings are not included. – Members are responsible for purchasing clay and paying for glaze and kiln firings according to our studio’s firing agreement. Shared Studio Etiquette – Respect other artists and the space—this is a shared environment. – Leave your work clearly labeled, and store it only in approved areas. – Work left unclaimed or unlabeled may be discarded.
