Paint Palettes - June 7, 2:30-4:00pm

Service Description

In this 90-minute handbuilding class, you’ll create your own ceramic paint palette using simple slab techniques. This is a smaller, focused project that’s both functional and a great introduction to working with clay. We’ll start with a quick demo on shaping and refining your palette, then you’ll design your own layout—adding wells, curves, and surface details that fit how you like to work. Whether you keep it minimal or add more texture and character, each piece will come out a little different. This class is approachable for beginners while still leaving room to make something that feels personal and useful—perfect for painters, creatives, or anyone who enjoys functional handmade pieces. At the end of class, you’ll choose a glaze color, and we’ll take care of the glazing and firing. Your palette will go through two kiln firings and will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–4 weeks. We provide all clay, tools, materials, and firing. Just bring your creativity—we’ll guide you through the rest.
