Serving Trays - May 22 6:30-9pm

Service Description

In this 2.5-hour handbuilding pottery class, you’ll design and create your own ceramic serving tray using slab-building techniques and a variety of studio molds to shape and refine your piece. This class blends structure and creativity—giving you a solid foundation to build from while still leaving plenty of room for personal design. We’ll begin with a guided demo on slab construction and how to work with molds to achieve clean, functional forms. You’ll then move into creating your own serving tray or charcuterie board, exploring shape, proportion, and surface design as you build. This is a functional pottery project designed for everyday use—perfect for serving food, entertaining, or creating a handmade piece for your home. No two trays will look alike, and that individuality is exactly what we encourage in our studio. At the end of class, you’ll choose a glaze color, and we’ll handle the glazing and firing of your work. Each piece goes through two kiln firings and will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–4 weeks. We provide all clay, tools, materials, and firing.
